Spring Season
During the spring, the team participates in 15s-style rugby, featuring 15 players on the field and two continuous 40-minute halves of play. Our practices are usually scheduled three days a week, with games taking place on Friday nights. The season kicks off in March and progresses through playoffs in May, culminating with the state championship during the first weekend in June.
In 2023, Dublin Rugby secured the Division 1 State Title! Additionally, we proudly hold the Dime Cup, triumphing over our rivals at Watkins High School in a thrilling match last spring season, clinching victory in the final moments under the lights at Jerome's Stadium.
Dublin Rugby represents more than just a sport; it fosters a lifelong bond among its players. Every Tuesday night, following practice, the team gathers to watch film and share dinner at one of the players' homes. After Friday night games, the players come together for a group dinner. Additionally, each spring, the coaching staff organizes a weekend retreat at Hocking Hills, further solidifying the team's camaraderie.
